• Drive decisions for total number of sensors and sensor locations needed to deliver passive restraint deployment times provided by Occupant/HV/Fuel system performance engineers in front/side/rear/rollover crash modes while meeting  no-deploy  targets for low-speed, pothole, curb, & nuisance impacts
• Analyze CAE predictions of sensor signals to estimate deploy times for all impact modes
• Develop comprehensive no-deploy test matrix to ensure sensor system robustness
• Work with crash ECU supplier to develop appropriate trade-offs between no-deploy and must deploy events
• Support testing team to ensure quality data collection
• Create post-crash documentation to record results, observations and any necessary actions
• Communicate all test results to the cross functional team

• Automotive OEM experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
• 3 plus years of similar experience
• Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.
