Testing Engineer

The goal of Hydra Force’s internship program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our Engineering groups. We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry level engineering position upon graduation.

Supporting Job Elements:

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic circuits and tooling used on test stands throughout plant
• Analyze and repair possible stand issues based troubleshooting guides if stands are out of startup control
• Review hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic circuits and schematics to troubleshoot test setups and power unit equipment.
• Calibrate testing equipment such as pressure transducers, flow meter displays, heat, and current sensors.
• Preform and assist in correlation studies and GR&R for qualifying stands for specific products.
• Update documentation in Q-Pulse. Training will be provided.

• Committed to an engineering college undergraduate program
• Fluid power knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of PLC programming
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and motivated
• Good technical/mechanical aptitude
• Good organizational skills
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment

The US base hourly range for this position will be in between $20- $27depending on the credits accumulated for the undergraduate students. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific hourly range during the interview process.
