SUMMARY:

Under the direction of Design Engineers or other responsible employee, provide assistance in the design and production of company products.

• Work with Sales Department, communicate and assist the design engineer with customers to establish product parameters.
• Interface with tooling manager, production personnel, suppliers, etc. to reflect good production practices into product designs.
• Utilize various engineering design tools such as CAD to develop and evaluate product design concepts.

• Write product specifications and product test plans consistent with customer needs and internal requirements.
• Perform competitive product analysis and evaluation.
• Perform maintenance of quality standards information for QS9000/ISO
  9001 compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related training and experience using CAD software, which includes Auto Cad, etc.
• Experience with geometric tolerancing and statistical analysis.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Office environment.
