Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200‑bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305‑bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status.

• Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.

• Required Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Respiratory Therapist License – State of Michigan (required upon hire)
• Respiratory Therapist Registry – NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care (required upon hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required upon hire)
