Sub-acute floor
:
Our sub-acute floor is a 59 bed Medicare unit that has residents with multiple clinical issues including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac related issues needing monitoring. Nurses work closely with a variety of health care professionals including doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support. Our sub-acute unit offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth and personal satisfaction.

Chronic Care floor
:
Our Chronic Care floor is a 60 bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and long‑term care unit भेजिष it is a great place to learn basic med‑surg, I.V. therapy & wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit along with host of healthcare professionals work to provide and implement the best treatment plan for residents. This fast paced and busy unit provides a great atmosphere for PT/OT residents to be motivated and reach their goals.

Dementia Care floor
:
Our Dementia Care floor is a 60 bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit. We provide care to residents with a variety of diagnoses. The dementia care is where we create a fullness of life through the joy of relationships, the art of caring and the spirit of living. This unit also works closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet and discuss the resident’s plan of care.

Beaumont Commons – Farmington Hills. Our facility has 3 floors and 9 units (3 units per floor). We are able to provide care for long‑term care residents and post‑acute rehab patients. The first floor has 59 beds with a focus on sub‑acute rehab, the second floor has 59 beds that focus on long‑term care and sub‑acute rehab, and our third floor is a secured dementia unit.

Nurse‑patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. We care for dementia residents, long‑term care and sub‑acute rehab residents. With 179 beds, we accept but are not limited to patient specialties such as general rehab, neuro‑rehab, cardiac, respiratory and cancer. We also have various programs for residents to participate in multiple activities. Our goal is to create a Fullness of Life through the joy of relationships, the art of caring and the spirit of living.

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. Thisារឿ includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health.

Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Completes all mandatory training, education, competencies required for job classification
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
• BLS – AHA or ARC upon hire

Preferred

• 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care.
