Systems Administrator

Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking a Systems Administrator who thrives in a well‑organized, fast‑paced, and multi‑task driven environment. This position will be reporting directly to the Director of IT at our Farmington Hills location.

• Responsible for the administration and configuration of VMWare, vCenter, vSphere.
• Manage servers, storage and backups (Veeam).
• Administer, monitor and report stats on all patching, updates and system performance.
• Configure and conduct performance testing, and analysis for VMWare solutions.
• Configure and manage virtual servers and storage environments.
• Schedule and administer disaster recovery testing, system maintenance/updates, and provide updates on system monitoring and user access requests to leadership.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Symitar and other critical credit union applications.
• Develop and Monitor service level agreements (SLA’s).
• Collaborate with IT Leadership to review and analyze hardware needs; recommend upgrades/replacements.

A successful candidate will be an approachable team player with a personable and professional demeanor, a desire to learn and driven to achieve outstanding results—accurately and efficiently. We seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and 3‑5 years in system administration. Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft and VMware applications and licensing is required. VMware Certified Specialist, Microsoft 365 Certified Expert, and/or similar certifications are preferred.

Previous technology experience in a Credit Union/financial institution is desirable.
