* Shift: 1st - 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $20/hr
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor automated production and assembly equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment downtime and help keep production running efficiently.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, repairs, tool changes, and line changeovers.
- Work with HMIs, PLCs, robotics, and automated equipment to identify production issues.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand gauges.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Follow established production standards to meet safety, quality, cycle-time, and productivity goals.
- Escalate equipment, production, or quality concerns when necessary.
- Participate in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support root-cause problem solving using tools such as 5-Why and 8D.
- Rotate between production responsibilities as needed and support cross-training.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience troubleshooting automated assembly or manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with HMI, PLC, and/or robotic systems
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as press/force, torque, soldering, and assembly
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Basic machine shop skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Green Belt certification preferred, but not required
