Marketing Coordinator

Talascend is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing activities to promote the full line of quality products for the North American region. The individual will assist with tasks typically assigned to the Digital Marketing Coordinator as well as the Head of Marketing.

• Manage product and sales channel specific content for customer communication and promotion
• Manage and coordinate with multiple agency partners for PR, influencer marketing, printing and fulfillment services
• Implement and execute the marketing strategy for the North American region
• Participate in and communicate marketing activities in the region to the global team and integrate goals across multiple teams
• Collaborate between the sales, product, category management and customer service teams to ensure strategies are aligned and executed
• Understand current digital trends and how to deliver messaging to the digital world
• Maintain web and social media presence and utilize visitor statistics to maximize user engagement
• Maximize trade show/event participation with planning and analysis
• Incorporate CRM platform into communication strategy to implement open dialogue between sales team and customers
• Coordinate projects with central marketing office to ensure compliance with standards

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years of marketing experience

• Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket is desired
• Familiarity with various platforms such as CRM, social media, Adobe Suite preferred
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to do simple math and use a calculator
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Travel is likely but not required
