Work Schedule
Up to 40 hours per week, variable schedules—days, evenings and weekends. Include but not limited to: mowing of tees, greens, fairways, roughs and site maintenance. Repair and programming of golf course irrigation systems and familiarity with turf fertility and diseases desired. Supervision of other part time employees will be required in absence of full-time employees. May extend work through winter months for snow removal.
Work involves working outside in all weather conditions. Evening and weekend work may be required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous Work ExperienceExperience with golf course landscaping, irrigation, operation and maintenance or pesticide application required. Horticulturist experience preferred but not required.
Special Skills & TrainingMust be at least 18 years old. A minimum of two years’ experience in golf course maintenance required. Experience with all types of golf course maintenance equipment and golf course irrigation required. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s license with good driving record.
