Job Title
Grocery Receiver 619 | Kroger
Position Summary- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards.
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service; demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
- Ensure shipping and receiving tools are working properly for smooth transition of products.
- Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and integrity of the ordering system.
- Check condition, accuracy of quantity, pricing, and temperature of received product.
- Process damaged/returned goods and complete necessary paperwork.
- Ensure inventory management for all delivered products.
- Ensure all vendors follow company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep temperature logs.
- Reinforce safety programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
- Practice preventive maintenance and report equipment needing repair.
- Ensure maximum security of the receiving area.
- Develop and train DSD Receiver backup.
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
- Report all safety risks or issues, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
