Position: Global Business Development Manager (U.S. Accounts)

Overview

We are seeking a candidate who will support our U.S. operations while working from our headquarters in Japan!

Travel Requirement: Approximately five trips per year (primarily to the U.S.)

Visa Support: Japan work visa sponsorship provided

About the Role

The role involves managing and nurturing U.S. based customer accounts from Japan, acting as a key liaison between customers and IRISO headquarters. Responsibilities include introducing new products to U.S. clients, coordinating closely with HQ engineering and sales teams, and supporting ongoing business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage U.S.

    -based customer accounts from Japan
  • Introduce new products to U.S. customers and coordinate with HQ engineering/sales
  • Support and maintain existing business
  • Drive new customer development in collaboration with HQ teams
  • Serve as a communication bridge between U.S. customers and IRISO HQ
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
Required Skills
  • Experience in electronic components or automotive industry preferred
  • Prior OEM/Tier1 communication experience is a plus
  • Understanding of U.S. market expectations and communication styles
  • Japanese: not required (but interest in Japan is preferred)
  • Motivated individuals who wish to live and work in Japan while contributing to U.S. business activities
