Compensation: $20 per hour, with the opportunity to receive tuition reimbursement up to $3,500 per year towards an Associate Degree. Police Academy sponsorship based on merit.
Job DescriptionThis job is intended to identify internal candidates for promotion to the rank of Police Officer.
- Assist citizens at the Command Desk by answering phones and taking reports both in person and over the phone
- Prisoner care
- Prisoner processing
- Maintain department equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational capabilities of the police facility and grounds
- Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in self‑defense training
- Perform all other tasks as assigned
