We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Installation Team Lead
to oversee and execute in-house remodeling projects for residential spaces. This role combines hands-on remodeling experience with on-site leadership responsibilities. You’ll lead internal team members, manage job site coordination, evaluate project feasibility, and ensure work is completed to KSI’s high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal remodeling projects, including kitchens, baths, laundry, and bars
  • Perform demolition and installation tasks, including:
  • Rough and finish carpentry
  • Drywall repair and framing
  • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work (as qualified)
  • Cabinetry and trim installation
  • Pre-manufactured counter top installation
  • Appliance hookup (client-supplied)
  • Assess new project feasibility and participate in job site visits and scope reviews
  • Coordinate project scheduling with the Installation Department and designers
  • Communicate site readiness for deliveries, templates, inspections, and subcontractors
  • Source and procure jobsite materials (e.g., lumber, fasteners, plumbing supplies)
  • Pull building permits when applicable
  • Coach and manage internal install team members on-site
  • Document project status and updates in KSI’s CRM system
  • Support occasional post-install service requests (e.g., hinge adjustments, touch-ups)
  • Provide excellent customer service and uphold KSI’s core values
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of cabinetry installation and/or finish carpentry experience
  • Familiarity with remodeling environments and working in occupied homes
  • Ability to read and interpret cabinetry plans and construction drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
  • Experience estimating labor and installation time for cabinetry work
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Neat, professional appearance and strong communication skills
