Water Restoration Technician

We are looking for a task orientated technician to join our restoration team. Your main focus will be onsite doing restoration to ensure completion of drying, demolition and various restoration activities. Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos and documents according to company policies and procedures. Explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers.

Monday - Friday 8-5 (hours may vary depending on daily schedule). OT is mandatory. Weekend work on a rotating on call schedule. Must be willing to be flexible on start and stop times.

Pay: $15-18 depending on previous work experience and certifications.

• Retrieve work orders, ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, and arrive to work site.
• Complete assigned jobs according to company processes and carrier standards, maintain quality control, manage technician(s) assigned to job.
• Perform required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency.
• Explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers using printed materials as a guide.
• Inspect jobs after completion, obtain customer signatures for approval purposes, and request payments when necessary.
• Ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass a background check due to the nature of the job.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone.
• Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
• Read and follow product label usage instructions.

• FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician
• OCT – Odor Control Technician
• WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician

• Move up to 70 pounds often by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching required.
• Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
• Use respirators when required, ensuring proper seal.
• Be exposed to various indoor and outdoor working conditions; environment may vary with or without air conditioning and heating.
