Apprentice Technician (AV, Lighting, Shading, Control)

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Paulson's is seeking an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in commercial and residential settings. Once we get our hands on you, you will be able to ensure that installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients!

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm (CST)

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Setup and configuration of devices
• Understanding of networks
• Troubleshooting of devices
• Eventually Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron)

• An Interest in Commercial and/or Residential AV & Low-Voltage (Wiring & Installation)
• Familiarity with networking
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• $20/hr-$25/hr with advancement path – Yup!
• SIRA with 3% match (after 1 year)
• 8 Days PTO (+1 week after 1 yr)
