Electrician

Farbman Group is currently seeking a full time Electrician to join our team in
Farmington Hills, MI.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across multiple commercial properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and expand your professional experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for building systems, lighting, and equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical panels, circuits, outlets, and wiring in compliance with code.
• Support property managers and building engineers with electrical needs related to tenant buildouts and capital projects.
• Conduct inspections, identify hazards or code violations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and building staff to ensure timely and safe project completion.
• Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, and inventory records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Electrical License (Journeyman or Master, as required by local area).
• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and work on ladders or lifts as required.
