Position: Operations Senior Manager Data Analytics (Hybrid)

Position Overview

This role will support key strategic operations and supply chain initiatives across RTX and play a critical role honing the precision of our global operations. The ideal candidate has a consulting mindset, thrives in a problem‑solving environment, and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to drive meaningful impact. Candidates with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategy consulting, and supply chain or manufacturing operations will excel in this role.

You Will Do
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Insight:
    • Apply a structured problem‑solving approach to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and develop actionable solutions for complex business challenges.
    • Synthesize large datasets and unstructured information into meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making.
    • Leverage advanced analytics tools and techniques to uncover opportunities for operational optimization and cost reduction.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    • Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to shape strategic priorities and align initiatives with organizational goals.
    • Contribute to the development of business cases and strategy roadmaps for high‑impact projects.
  • Collaborative Engagement:
    • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams through the operations council framework to translate data insights into efficient, scalable actions.
    • Facilitate workshops and discussions leveraging our CORE operating model to guide teams through recommendations.
  • Presentation and Communication:
    • Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Develop high‑quality presentations and reports that effectively communicate insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience (7 years with advanced degree) working in data analysis, FP&A, strategy consulting, applied to Supply Chain/Operations/Manufacturing.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using structured frameworks and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong business acumen with proven record for delivering measurable impact.
  • Experience at a consulting firm or in a strategy‑focused role within a multinational organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
