Permanent Building Substitute needed for the school year! Great opportunity for those interested in obtaining a teaching certification or those looking to support their local district. This position will allow direct experience working in the classroom as a teacher or paraprofessional. This position will support the Middle School (Grades 7-8) and occasionally the High School (Grades 9-12).
Permanent Building Sub daily pay rate: $140 per day!
All Permanent Building Substitutes get guaranteed assignments every day that school is in session. Assignments will be made daily based on your home-school. Position may terminate at the end of the school year.
Responsibilities- Support Middle School (Grades 7-8) classrooms daily.
- Occasionally assist High School (Grades 9-12) when needed.
- Follow teacher lesson plans and classroom procedures.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- State of Connecticut Teacher Certification preferred.
- 3 letters of reference and copies of college transcripts.
- Fingerprinted within 30 days of hire.
