** The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services Engineering Software team:
** This role is responsible for integrating all aspects of Engineering Software (SW) functions into Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation Initiatives through collaborating and partnering with suppliers, ES leaders, and functional service owners.  A key component of the role is to develop supplier capabilities, partnerships and category strategies for internal use requirements.

The ideal candidate will draw from past experience with various Engineering software technologies and can assist with translating this knowledge via contract negotiations and project management skills to lead the coordination, communication and integration of suppliers to support the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives. You will have an understanding of supplier products and develop various strategies to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line.

An understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from contract negotiations to requisition and PO placement is needed for this role. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop effective presentations and present to leadership and peers.

* What You Will Do:

*** Strategy Development & Negotiation:
Build a strategy, lead and manage negotiations for Engineering Software (SW) contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions to the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives for RTX
* Engineering Software experiences:  Atlassian, Siemens, Synopsys, PTC, Ansys and Math Works, etc…
* License Types:

Experience with various forms of SW licensing methodologies and complex pricing analysis
* Strategy Consulting:
Gathering requirements and identifying solutions to achieve desired outcomes
* Contract Review & Drafting:
Review, draft, and revise a variety of contracts including software licenses and master agreements

* Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders including partnership peers, legal, finance, cyber to align contract terms with company objectives
* Vendor Management:
Manage relationship with suppliers ensuring adherence to agreed terms, quality, and opportunity development

* Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Market Analysis:
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Engineering software environment
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
** or
* * an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
** or
* * in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience in Consulting, Sourcing, Procurement Management with at least 5 years in the Engineering Software environment
