Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition Team at Quest Global

• Set up and operate Zeiss CMMs to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Develop and optimize inspection programs using Zeiss software (e.g., Calypso) to measure parts accurately
• Analyze measurement data, generate CMM reports, and identify any deviations from the required tolerances
• Ensure manufactured parts meet the quality standards and collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality to address issues
• Perform thorough inspections of prototype and production parts, ensuring they meet close tolerance and quality requirements
• Verify assemblies and components for dimensional accuracy
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including creating and maintaining inspection reports. Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel

• Proficiency in setting up and operating Zeiss CMMs and experience with relevant software (Calypso)
• Ability to validate CMM programs
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience with various measurement tools and techniques
• Ability to analyze measurement data, identify trends, and interpret results
• Additional duties as assigned by the manager
• The position requires being on 3rd shift, hours 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work Requirements:
This role is on-site in Farmington, CT. You must be able to commute with your own transportation to meet the required hours.

• Shop floor environment, which may include extensive walking and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
