Job TitleAssistant Manager, Talent Acquisition Team at Quest Global
What You Will Do- Set up and operate Zeiss CMMs to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Develop and optimize inspection programs using Zeiss software (e.g., Calypso) to measure parts accurately
- Analyze measurement data, generate CMM reports, and identify any deviations from the required tolerances
- Ensure manufactured parts meet the quality standards and collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality to address issues
- Perform thorough inspections of prototype and production parts, ensuring they meet close tolerance and quality requirements
- Verify assemblies and components for dimensional accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including creating and maintaining inspection reports. Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and documentation
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel
- Proficiency in setting up and operating Zeiss CMMs and experience with relevant software (Calypso)
- Ability to validate CMM programs
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with various measurement tools and techniques
- Ability to analyze measurement data, identify trends, and interpret results
- Additional duties as assigned by the manager
- The position requires being on 3rd shift, hours 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Requirements:
This role is on-site in Farmington, CT. You must be able to commute with your own transportation to meet the required hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include extensive walking and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
