Overview
Join our Collins Aerospace Tax Team as a Tax Reporting Manager. In this hybrid role based in Farmington, CT, you will manage ASC
740 income tax accounting for Collins’ non‑US business operationsopper. You’ll collaborate with finance, planning, and corporate tax teams to meet global tax compliance requirements, reduce tax risk and enhance efficiency.
- Review quarterly and year‑end non‑US income tax provision submissions in accordance with ASC
740. - Prepare quarterly and year‑end non‑US income tax expense and balance sheet tax account reconciliations.
- Calculate interest accruals on certain non‑US tax reserves.
- Assist with quarterly and year‑end presentations for Collins controllers and RTX Corporate Tax team.
- Prepare quarterly and year‑end SOX documentation.
- Assist with annual corporate income tax filings.
- Lead special projects such as management presentations, historical tax rate analyses and review of tax rate/law changes.
- University degree with minimum eight years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum five years of experience, or 12 years of relevant public‑accounting or multinational corporate tax experience.
- U.S. citizenship required for access to the financial management systemletion.
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting theory, including ASC
740.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, intellectually curious, performs well under pressure and a team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, collaborate and coordinate effectively across tax and finance organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; active participant in career development and succession planning.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Experience with One Stream and Longview.

Hybrid role. Preferred location Farmington, CT, but candidates near an RTX hub will also be considered. Salary range 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days after posting; staffing needs may shorten or extend this window.
