WCS is seeking MRI Tech for a Local Contract at hospital in CT.

Job Function:

• Evening Shift.
• 5x8: 3PM-11:30PM.

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, safety protocols, and established imaging procedures.

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the scan.

• Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, devices) and maintain strict MRI safety standards.

• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards.

• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging results in the electronic medical record system.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• MUST have AART Certification.
• Minimum Education/Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• NY State IV Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
