We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This role involves dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and offering support for specialty packaging and insurance claims. You will collaborate with a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance patient care.
Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient consultations and answer medication‑related questions.
- Handle insurance claims and assist customers in selecting cost‑effective options.
- Support specialty packaging for long‑term care and group homes.
- Manage phone inquiries and maintain excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with a robust team of pharmacists and technicians.
- Assist with oxygen and CPAP services as needed.
- Pharmacy knowledge and experience.
- Pharm
D or equivalent degree; licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist. - Proficiency in customer service and pharmaceutical data entry.
- Compounding and pharmaceutical skills.
- Experience with retail pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management.
- Inventory and fulfillment management skills.
- Understanding of health care and prior authorization processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome.
- Immunization certification is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy and care.
The position is based in a retail pharmacy setting, requiring collaboration with a team of dedicated pharmacists and technicians. The role involves managing a diverse range of inquiries and tasks in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring high standards of customer service and patient care.
