ResponsibilitiesLarge parts machining supplies the assembly line with the highest quality parts on time while achieving expected productivity standards.
- Setting up large parts for machining while maximizing machine utilization
- Quality control of weldments and machined parts
- Keeping work areas clean to company standard
- Following all safety procedures
- Working well in the team
- Documentation of various processes
- 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
- Relevant technical education is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
- Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
- Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
- Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
- Having great attention to quality
