Join our team as a Machine Assembler and bring cutting-edge TRUMPF technology to life. You’ll play a hands-on role in building high-precision machinery, ensuring each product meets world-class quality standards. Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators and digital levels to achieve tolerances. Use appropriate fixtures to aid in the assembly process.
- Operate overhead crane to move heavy components during the assembly process.
- Adhere to TRUMPF Quality Standards.
- Ability to read, convert and measure in imperial (inch) and metric system.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team goals. Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with TRUMPF's lean principles.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes by providing input and feedback.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
- Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists; ability to read simple schematics and blueprints.
- Must be able to work with accurate measuring devices; attention to detail.
- Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy is a plus; forklift license is a plus.
