Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a 16-week assignment requiring circulating experience in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries.

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand
• Must apply for CT state license within 24 hours of assignment confirmation if not already held
• 4-5 years of OR RN experience or combined OR experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Must be able to independently perform circulating duties for ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries
• Copy of NURSYS required upon consideration
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of consideration

• Operating Room Unit performing CVOR scrub and circulate duties
• Must also be willing to work other surgical specialties as needed
• Variable and rotating shift start times (7a, 930a, 11a, 1p) with 10-hour day shifts
• On-call responsibilities required, approximately 3-4 times per month including rotating weekend call
• Minimum 1 weekend on-call per month required
• Holiday coverage required as part of rotation
• 30-minute report time required
• Scrubs provided
• Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and other operating room surgical cases
• Considered part of the facility's rotation pool and may be required to work additional hours as needed for unit coverage
• COVID and flu vaccines required, with medical and religious declinations allowed
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
