Travel RN - Mother Baby - Ante Partum

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Antepartum position requiring prior OB experience and a CT or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active CT or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Prior OB experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in the OB/GYN unit, including 12 postpartum rooms, 4 swing/antepartum rooms, 5 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms
• Patient ratios: 1:3 on Labor and Delivery, 1:3 antepartum, 1:6 mother/baby couplet
• 12-hour night shifts, 11p-11a, 36 hours per week
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
• May be required to work additional hours as part of the unit's rotation pool for coverage
• May float to a different department, unit, or facility within 30 miles of the assigned facility
• Provide nursing care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother/baby couplet care settings
• Unit provides scrubs
• Accepts local candidates
