• Compensation: $17-$25 per hour

• Provide swim instruction.
• Build effective, authentic relationships with students and parents.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
• Use problem‑solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues; report issues to management as appropriate.
• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment; place and remove lane lines.
• Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing and pool vacuuming.
• Attend mandatory meetings/training outside of regular working hours.
• Weekday and weekend availability.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• 16 years or older.
• No prior teaching experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and have fun is a must!

American Red Cross – Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of hire.

Swim instructors spend the majority of their working time in the pool with students.
