Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and work in the conditions described below.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff using equipment, tools, and materials listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.
  • Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, and counseling notices.
  • Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings.
  • Effective oral and written communication in English.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Skills Leadership and Management
  • Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Develop, manage, and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized, and maintained per company standards.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and the supervisor.
  • Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
  • Implement non‑discriminatory related management skills during hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.
Site Relationships
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.
  • Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.
Training and Development
  • Prepare ongoing and timely performance appraisals in writing for all employees, providing proper performance‑based feedback.
  • Train all employees to meet company standards for customer service, site image, and marketing execution.
  • Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
Communication
  • Develop communication methods to ensure all employees receive timely information.
  • Establish periodic ongoing communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager.
Organizing and Planning
  • Evaluate and develop specific action plans to address site needs and reach objectives.
  • Organize and maintain all site files and manuals.
  • Manage and supervise store employees to ensure all required reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Management of merchandise to ensure accurate stocking, attractive display, and correct pricing.
  • Ensure required employment posters and signs are accessible to all employees.
Financial
  • Analyze daily sales and expense information and take appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits.
  • Budget and forecast P&L lines, understand and manage merchandise margins.
  • Safeguard money received and disbursed; perform all necessary financial analysis to maximize profits.
Working Conditions
  • Work predominantly indoors; may be required outside for parking lot, gas pump, garbage removal, etc.
  • Exposed to occasional cold temperature extremes while working in walk‑in cooler or freezer.
  • Exposed to occasional noise.
  • Work with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Always act as an effective manager, supervisor and leader.
