As a Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

• Managing the retail store to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner
• Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements and making improvements as needed
• Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for recognition and development
• Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget
• Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings / regularly inspecting PPE
• Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe installations, meeting the designated architectural specifications for flat glass installation

Required qualifications

• 3 + years' prior experience in retail/shop management required, glass/skilled labor experience a plus!
• Must have OSHA-10 certification or the ability to obtain one through Portland Glass
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computed programs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws
• Education: High school diploma/GED is required, associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds

Competitive pay:
Negotiable. Salary based on experience. Annual bonus of up to $9,500!
