RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work variable shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Every other weekend schedule required

• No call requirements, though call may occasionally be offered

• 3-5 years of critical care experience preferred

• Float requirements to med surg/telemetry units

• 1:2 patient ratio in 4-bed ICU unit

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• CCRN preferred but not required

• PACU experience preferred but not required

• Complete education modules including BLS/ACLS, vent management, central line care, medication administration, and policies and procedures

• Work with hemodynamic monitoring equipment (Philips), glucometers, Plum Pumps 360, PCA/Epidural pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and telemetry

• Use EPIC electronic medical record system

• Provide ICU/critical care including assistance with intubation and vent management

• Manage critically ill/unstable patients and coordinate care

• Occasionally provide off-hours recovery (PACU care)

• Care for patients over 18 years of age

• Dress code requires scrubs with no hoodies or graphic wear
