Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our group of civil engineers in the Central region of the US! In this role, you will join multi-disciplined teams in the planning, design and construction engineering site-development projects for our wide range of municipal and private clients. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Assisting with the preparation of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and permit applications for projects

Development of land development plans and attendance at municipal meetings

Linear infrastructure (piping, force mains, drainage) design for various sites

Navigating local, county, and state regulations and permitting requirements

Provide mentorship and develop junior engineers

Successful skills & qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Current Professional Engineer (PE) license (in Texas) preferred or ability to file for licensure within 1 year5-10 years of project experience in land development, specifically around linear infrastructure; experience in multiple states a plus Familiarity with engineering modelling software including:
HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, HEC-RASKnowledge of engineering drafting software by Autodesk (Civil 3D) and ability to work closely with CAD professionals

Experience with presentations at zoning hearings and other public meetings
