Position SummaryHealthrise is seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Vendor Performance Lead who will work closely with healthcare operational leaders and technical experts to manage and drive forward vendor-related performance. This position partners closely with revenue cycle leadership and primary vendor contacts to lead strategic implementation initiatives and to drive the management, support, and standardization of vendor-related processes, workflows, and performance reporting.
Core competencies include strong critical thinking, attention to detail, time management, relationship management, communication, and organization/planning in order to influence outcomes favorably. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and general workflow design and development are strongly desired. Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
Measurements of Success- Consistent achievement in operational KPIs and project metrics
- Effective management and completion of project deliverables
- Positive client feedback related to operational delivery, responsiveness, and overall satisfaction
- Improved efficiency and cost management within revenue cycle workflows and associated vendor relationships
- Effective resolution of vendor-related issues and performance gaps
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned vendors, ensuring services are delivered on time, on budget, and to expected standards
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs, escalating issues and implementing corrective action plans when needed
- Lead vendor check-ins and performance reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners, client stakeholders, and internal Healthrise teams
- Clearly communicate expectations, updates, and results to both vendors and leadership
- Provide professional, constructive feedback to vendors, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Partner with internal revenue cycle teams to ensure vendor processes align with clinical, technical, and operational workflows
- Serve as a critical vendor liaison, managing client expectations and addressing operational concerns proactively
- Support vendor-related projects, system enhancements, and integrations
- Track and analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with Training and Operations to ensure SOPs reflect best practices
- Recommend workflow and process changes to strengthen vendor integration and maximize ROI
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to design and develop vendor dashboards
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle operations and improvement strategies
- Proven delivery of account/client management support
- Adaptable to change with an interest in learning and developing a deeper understanding of revenue cycle practices
- Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills
- Proven customer-oriented service and consultative/relationship-building skills
- Ability to galvanize others, gather support, and thoughtfully manage complex relationships to influence outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong communication skills and proven cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience developing and applying structured workplans to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Skilled at providing direction to project teams, driving deliverables, identifying/escalating risks, and influencing stakeholders, including senior leaders internally and externally
- Experience working in a HIPAA-compliant or healthcare-regulated environment
- Familiarity with project management concepts and methodologies
- Revenue cycle, project management, or consulting experience strongly preferred
