Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Technician (ReDec) to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing renovation and remodeling tasks to improve residential properties. This role requires hands-on experience with various construction and renovation techniques, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform renovation/unit turn and repair tasks including drywall installation, painting, flooring, carpentry, and minor electrical/plumbing work.
• Complete work accurately and efficiently and fill out turn checklist in its entirety.
• Collaborate with ReDec Manager, Facilities Manager, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion on unit turn.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during turn activities.
• Document work performed and report any issues or delays to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in construction or renovation preferred.
• Proven experience in property maintenance, renovation, remodeling, or construction work.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This position involves working on-site at various residential properties. The role requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Safety equipment and protocols must be followed at all times.
