The Loan Officer role will be responsible for business development within the community and administration of a high‑quality loan portfolio consisting of consumer, real estate & commercial loans.
Responsibilities- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners in the community (e.g., Realtors, Tax Professionals, Developers, etc.).
- Provide prompt, courteous attention to all customers to meet their financial needs.
- Coordinate interaction between borrower and all other parties involved, keeping customers updated throughout the process.
- Show ability to work independently, under pressure, and against time deadlines.
- Maintain keen attention to detail related to loan applications, processing, new regulations, bank policies, and procedures.
- Communicate proactively with account holders whose loans are in arrears.
- Understand all compliance aspects of lending (HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg O, Flood Determination, Reg Z, CRA, etc.).
- Stay knowledgeable about banking compliance (BSA, Privacy, OFAC, Security, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Patriot Act, etc.).
- Demonstrate problem‑solving, analysis, and time management skills.
