Pay range: $30.00/hr - $47.28/hr pay determined by skills and experience.

• Part‑time, 3 rotating shifts, M‑F
• 8‑hour shifts, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• 30‑minute call‑response window

Parkland Health Center is part of BJC Health Care. The center provides world‑class medicine with deep local roots, operating two locations in St. Francois County, Missouri: an acute‑care hospital in Farmington and a rural emergency hospital in Bonne Terre. Services include inpatient and outpatient care, surgical services, medical‑surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, emergency services, oncology, infusion, wound care, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Role

Purpose:

Provides direct patient care activities within nursing standards of care.

• Promote patient and family‑centered care, educate on illness management and home care.
• Participate in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care and ensure communication across the continuum.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Maintain constant state of alertness as a safety‑sensitive position.

  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
