Position: FT Hourly Skid Welder Non-Code- Night shift USD 17.00 PESCO SOUTH PART NIGHTS

A skid welder is responsible for building skids, fireboxes, and houses for units. (all non-coded)

Duties and Responsibilities

Build the following:

• Flame arrestors/houses
• Non-Code Welding
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all tools, equipment, and facility
• Follow all company rules and policies
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Ability to work independently
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
• Must follow safety policies

Physical Requirements

• Lifting 70 lbs. from floor to waist
• Lifting 45 lbs. from waist to shoulder
• Lift, carrying, pushing and/or pulling 70 lbs.
• Bending 20+ times or more per day
• Hold or carry 10 lbs. 67% - 100% of the time
• Maneuver up and down ladders with ease
• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and ability requirements)

• Dual Shield
• GMAW
• SMAW
• Knowledge in E6010/E7024 rods
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Need to have basic Math skills (may be tested before hiring)
• Have a willingness and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure
• Must be able to read blueprints/drawings
• Ability to identify and measure material
• Ability to produce quality products consistently

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

• Knowledge of manufacturing process
• Must follow safety policies
• Ability to reach employee by reasonable means
• Ability to get to and from work DAILY

Standard Working Hours and Conditions

Hours

4:30 pm to 2:00 am; subject to change due to production needs

Days

M-F; subject to change due to production needs

Inside/Outside in extreme weather and temperatures
