What you own:
The Director, Data & Analytics leads Loan Pro's internal analytics function — setting the strategic direction for how data is organized, governed, and used to support decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role: the Director is an active builder and practitioner who designs and delivers analytics solutions, develops and maintains dashboards and data models, and also owns the roadmap and strategic direction of the function.
The analytics function sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Engineering. The Director, Data & Analytics translates business needs into working data solutions, maintains trusted metric definitions, and evaluates the tools and architecture that make internal data accessible and reliable. As the function grows, this role will expand from individual contributor leadership to managing an Analytics Engineering team.
This role partners closely with Cloud Engineering on the data platform and shared standards, and serves as the primary analytics voice in Loan Pro's cross-functional Data Chapter.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analytics development and delivery:
Design, build, and maintain the suite of dashboards, reports, and data models that Finance, Operations, and Leadership rely on for decision-making. This includes hands-on SQL development, data pipeline management, connector configuration, and iterative dashboard development. The majority of time in this role is spent in active development — building and improving analytics solutions that are accurate, clear, and decision-ready. - Analytics strategy and roadmap:
Own the direction and prioritization of the internal analytics function. Evaluate and recommend the right approach to data transformation, metric governance, and visualization — balancing architectural soundness with team capacity and business need. Align the analytics roadmap with company objectives in partnership with the CFO and cross-functional stakeholders. - Internal metric governance:
Define, document, and maintain authoritative definitions for Loan Pro's core business metrics — including financial, operational, and sales KPIs. Ensure metrics are consistently applied across reporting and that stakeholders have a trusted, accessible source of truth. Own the business metric layer in coordination with Cloud Engineering, who own product and application metrics. - Stakeholder partnership:
