Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing and managing the receiving of inventory for the manufacturing of weighing and measuring equipment at a level which satisfies the high-quality standards of Cubiscan and our customers.

• Receive and sign for deliveries
  Check deliveries against packing slips, purchase orders, and any other documents needed to verify correctness
• Inspect the condition and quality of delivered items
• Record and reject damaged items
• Process the returns of rental equipment
• Process and record the return of damaged equipment
• Complete daily receiving entries into computer system (Syteline)
• Store stock in an orderly manner in appropriate locations
• Assure proper storage conditions
• Correctly route items to relevant departments and process
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Conduct regular cycle counts
• Work closely with purchasing regarding stock levels
• Comply with standard safety and operating procedures
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word and Excel
• Experience with relevant warehouse management system (WMS) i.e., Syteline preferred
• Professionalism, ethics, and diplomacy are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities under demanding circumstances.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
