Farmville Newsmedia, LLC is looking for a talented, experienced editor to continue the multi‑media organization’s evolution to a digital‑first environment. We are focused on driving web traffic and providing compelling content for our varied editorial products, both online and in print. Farmville is a historic but progressive community. It has a great small‑college town vibe with an economy driven by Longwood University, Hampden‑Sydney College, and Green Front Furniture.

The High Bridge, along with three area state parks, provide plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities. With a lively downtown and a growing restaurant scene, the town is coming alive and reckoning with its history, as is The Farmville Herald.
