Physical Therapy Assistant I – Farmville Pace Therapy – Full Time Days

Join Centra Health as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Farmville Pace Therapy acute care and acute rehab settings (Va licensure, TJC, CMS).

This position provides patient treatment, documentation, billing, and interdisciplinary care within the hospital setting.

• Completes patient treatment following the plan of care/goals set by the evaluating Physical Therapist.
• Collaborates with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and SLP teams to promote interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Collaborates with case management team, nursing, and providers to promote interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Completes documentation that is within Va Licensure, TJC and CMS guidelines.
• Follows Centra Values.
• Completion of mandatory yearly education for employment and to maintain Va licensure.

• Preceptor to new employees on volunteer basis.
• Clinical instructor to PTA students on volunteer basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited LPTA program.
• Current Va LPTA licensure or license eligible.
• BLS CPR Certification.
