Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper, Farnborough, 35-40k with hybrid

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role will suit someone motivated and happy working in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day duties in this full-time permanent position:

All aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, low pressure credit control and bank reconciliations.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings.

Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.

Liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve any financial queries.

Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

About you:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar all-round accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Quick Books, Xero) and MS Office.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Good communication skills and a team player attitude.

Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT etc) would be beneficial.
