Due to hours and location a driving licence is essential
Shift pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off. Working 4pm - midnight. Average 35 hours per week.
£16.75 per hour + Holiday Pay
Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties- Booking in and registering samples using the Laboratory Information Management System
- Producing Excel reports to monitor outstanding requests and support operational needs
- Managing a shared inbox, responding to queries from internal teams and customers
- Providing general administrative support, including reporting as required
Laboratory Duties
- Organising, labelling, and storing samples accurately
- Preparing and labelling sample containers for customer use
- Adding required reagents to containers and ensuring correct dating and traceability
- Cleaning and preparing containers and laboratory equipment for reuse
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
- Comfortable working in both office and laboratory environments
