The Role

As a Leadership Team Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive, professional support to the Maritime & Land Managing Director, ensuring effective diary and time management to enable delivery of objectives in line with business and customer deadlines.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for prioritising, monitoring, and coordinating email and written correspondence, as well as establishing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes. This includes the secure management, storage, and retrieval of information, with particular care for confidential, strategic, personal, and business critical materials.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide proactive executive support to Managing Directors, ensuring efficient day to day operations and effective time management
  • Serve as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, managing communications professionally and confidentially
  • Manage, escort, and delegate issues appropriately, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and timely resolution
  • Coordinate meetings by preparing agendas and materials, and tracking actions through to completion
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across teams, including providing EA/PA cover and support when required
  • Effectively prioritise competing demands, resolve issues proactively, and support business reporting and governance processes to improve organisational effectiveness
Essential experience of the Leadership Team Personal Assistant:
  • Proven experience in a Personal Assistant role at senior level with a track record of operating with high levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and virtual connectivity platform
  • Demonstrates exceptional discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proactive, self motivated, and achievement focused, with the ability to work independently and deliver high quality results
  • Strong communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at all levels
  • Highly organised and adaptable, effectively managing complex schedules, competing priorities, and high pressure situations with attention to detail
Essential qualifications for the Leadership Team Personal Assistant:

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.

At our Farnborough site exciting work takes place at our state-of-the-art facility, with high-energy laser technologies, our 5m pressurised wind tunnel which has a simulation capability that is unique in the UK and our large research and development projects is a real hub of creativity, research and innovation.
