Conducting and recording environmental and functional tests (thermal, pressure, etc.).
Working safely with fragile and high‑precision components, including microscope‑based assembly.
Supporting continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and problem‑solving with the wider team.
Contributing to clean‑room operations and maintaining 6S workplace standards.
Adhering to Health & Safety requirements and escalating risks when needed.
Providing guidance and support to new or less experienced team members.

Technical Skills & Experience

Proven hands‑on experience in avionics manufacturing or aviation maintenance.
Ability to solder to a high standard (IPC qualification desirable).
Experience working in ESD‑sensitive and/or clean‑room environments.
Strong understanding of test equipment and test procedures.
Ability to read engineering drawings confidently.
Experience assembling avionics hardware using microscopes.
Practical knowledge of Human Factors, FOD controls, Tool Control, COSHH and general aviation safety.

Strengths & Behaviours

Quality‑focused with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working to tight production schedules.
Strong communicator with clear written and verbal skills.
Proactive problem‑solver who collaborates well in a team setting.
Organised, dependable, and committed to safe working practices.
