Trainee Lift Engineers (137jc) – Farnborough – salary £30,000–35,000 + benefits.

Our client, established for over 30 years, is recruiting Trainee Engineers to join their expanding team. After initial training and development, candidates can progress to more senior roles such as Technician, Repair Engineer, Service Engineer, Installation Engineer, or other specialisms within the sector.

At the basic level, a solid engineering foundation is required. Electrical experience is desirable but not essential; those with electrical experience may progress faster.

After a six‑month training period, trainees are specialised into one of the engineering roles mentioned above.

• Good communication skills and ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Strong mechanical background; electrical experience an advantage.
• Ability to work towards set targets while maintaining high standards.
• Understanding of current Health & Safety procedures and standards applicable to the job role.
• Ability to work unsupervised and provide documentation to the highest standard.
• A self‑starter who displays initiative.
• Good team player with flexibility and enthusiasm for work.

• Starting salary £30,000–35,000, with an annual performance bonus of up to 10 %.
• Electric company car scheme with no personal tax implication.

• 25 days leave plus bank holidays.
• Company pension scheme: 4 % company contribution and 4 % personal contribution.
• Salary increases to £40,000 after training and opportunity to move into senior roles.
