Position: Team Lead Engineering (m/f/d)

What you can expect:

Join us in a key leadership role where you will shape and develop our UK engineering function while driving the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute directly to the growth of GOLDBECK SOLAR in one of our most important markets.

Your tasks:
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Act as the technical escalation point for projects and tenders
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations, client requirements and industry standards
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations and documentation
  • Support project execution from design through commissioning
  • Coordinate closely with project management, procurement, construction and sales teams
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and professional development of team members
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders
  • Profile:
  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in engineering roles within the solar, renewable energy or infrastructure sector
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of UK engineering standards and regulations
  • Experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-sufficient and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel across the UK for project and client meetings
  • Full UK driving licence desirable
