Location: Farnborough (Office - 5 days a week)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced and strengthen the cyber security of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure and public sector organisations.

What you’ll do

This role sits within the IT & Digital team in Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) Platforms & Delivery and is responsible for the end-to-end technical integrity of secure customer solutions. You'll shape and assure complex, secure platforms supporting public sector and Critical National Infrastructure customers, influencing technical strategy and leading solution design from concept through to live service. Working across secure hosting, virtualisation, cloud-enabled platforms, collaboration technologies, messaging services, and mission-critical infrastructure, you'll partner with customers, vendors, engineering, testing, and service teams to ensure successful delivery and operational acceptance.

  • Act as the Technical Design Authority for secure customer programmes, owning technical design decisions throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create and assure High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs).
  • Provide technical leadership across design, build, test and service transition activities.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, operational and architectural standards.
  • Support successful delivery by resolving technical issues and managing design changes.
