Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their team in either Malvern or Farnborough. In this permanent role, you will work with cutting-edge technology to enable secure, scalable, and mission-critical cloud capabilities within complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Building and configuring cloud services to meet business and application requirements
Monitoring cloud environments for performance, availability, cost optimisation, and security compliance
Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM templates
Automating deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Implementing and enforcing cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security
Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to enable smooth application deployments
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in designing, deploying, and managing solutions in AWSProven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
Strong familiarity with AWS services
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
This role is based at either the Malvern or Farnborough site, with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. Please note that all applicants for this role must be eligible for SC clearance as a minimum.
