Mechanical Assembly Operator

Mechanical Assembly Operator We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator to join a busy production team assembling high-end electronic products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing electronic assemblies into housings and the ability to work accurately from written work instructions, pictures and diagrams.

Key responsibilities:

- Accurately assemble electronic assemblies into housings to specification
- Perform soldering and wire looming tasks where required (advantageous) - Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, pictures and BOMs
- Use hand tools and light power tools safely and effectively
- Carry out basic inspection and functional checks to ensure quality
- Maintain accurate production records and complete simple reports using Excel and Word
- Adhere to health, safety and quality procedures and production targets
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate issues to supervisors Essential skills and experience:

- Ideally experience assembling high-end electronic assemblies into housings
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, pictures and diagrams
- Basic computer literacy including Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity and a quality-focused mindset Desirable:

- Soldering experience
- Wire looming / cable harness assembly experience
